LOS ANGELES ( KTLA) -- Actor Peter Fonda made a grim discovery Wednesday when he spotted a man's body inside a parked car.
Fonda called 911 Wednesday afternoon to report the death, according to Sgt. Carlton Cook at the West Los Angeles Community Police Station.
Fonda was driving along Sunset Boulevard in the Pacific Palisades area when he spotted a man slumped over in the front seat of a parked car.
Police say the 70-year-old "Easy Rider" actor is not a suspect.
The cause of the man's death was not released.
TMZ is reporting that the man committed suicide and may have been dead inside the car for 3 days.
Fonda is best known for his role in the 1969 film "Easy Rider" as sex-and-drugs loving biker Captain America.
