MORENO VALLEY (KTLA
) -- Authorities have found a 3-year-old boy Sunday who was abducted by his father last week during a supervised visit outside a Child Protective Service office.
The boy was found with his father and mother by detectives in a campground outside of Flagstaff around 2 p.m. Sunday, officials said.
An arrest warrant was issued Monday for William Burns, after he was accused of taking his son, Donnelly, just after 5:30 p.m. Monday after an argument with the boy's mother over custody, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The boy's mother left a few minutes before the abduction, officials said.
Donnelly was unharmed and taken into police custody.
Burns was involved in a similar incident in March and the boy was located unharmed in Phoenix
, the Desert Sun is reporting.
Anyone with more information about the incident is asked to call detectives at 951-486-5932 or 951-247-8700.
