MANDEVILLE CANYON (KTLA) -- Mud came flowing down a small street in the hills of Mandeville Canyon Saturday morning after a water pipe burst.

Firefighters received a report of a mudslide around 9 a.m. in the 1800 block of N. Mango Way in the mountains above Brentwood, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott said.

Scott said the hillside became vulnerable after an irrigation line broke, causing a 20-foot by 8-foot high slough of mud, debris and trees to block Westridge Road north of Sunset Boulevard.

No homes or structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.

The street was reopened Saturday afternoon as crews continued to clean the road.
