MALIBU (KTLA) -- A parolee has been arrested after allegedly stealing celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels' car and crashing it during a police pursuit, according to the District Attorney's office.

Gerjuan Deshon Harmon, 29, is accused of taking Michaels' 2011 Bentley GT from her Malibu home last Tuesday evening.

Michaels says her child and a nurse were watching television at home when her Hermes purse containing her car keys was stolen from the kitchen table.

Harmon was arrested on July 4 after leading Burbank police on a pursuit inside the stolen car.

He crashed the car during the pursuit, jumped out and fled on foot. He was captured in a nearby shed after fighting with police.

He was arrested and jailed on a parole hold.

Michaels tweeted about the burglary on Thursday morning.

"Thanks for your concern regarding the burglary. We are all fine & that's what counts. Stuff is just stuff after all," the post read.

Harmon is being charged with burglary, grand theft auto, evading police and other felony crimes.
