POMONA -- An L.A. County heath inspector convicted of groping the owner of a bakery shop is going to jail.

Magdy Naiem Tawadros was convicted last month of a single count of misdemeanor sexual battery.

Today, a judge sentenced him to 115 days in county jail and three years probation

Tawadros was accused of groping the owner of a bakery during a routine health inspection of the store last March.

The unidentified 45-year-old woman said Tawadros abused his position to grope her in a back room of her "Donut Bakery" shop on March 24.

And the incident was caught on video.



Tawardos worked for the health department's West Covina office.

If convicted, Tawardos could be sentenced to a maximum six-month jail term and fined $2,000.
