LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- It's Independence Day, and that means lots of celebrations and fireworks shows around town!

From the Hollywood Bowl to the Queen Mary, the skies over Southern California will be lit up Wednesday night in honor of our nation's heritage.

The following is a list of the fireworks shows scheduled for July 4:

-Adolfo Camarillo High School. 4660 Mission Oaks Blvd., Camarillo. Event starts 4 p.m.; fireworks at 9 p.m. $2, adults and older children; free, children 5 and younger.

-Aliso Viejo Community Park. 199 Park Ave., Aliso Viejo. Program starts at 6 p.m.; fireworks at dusk.

-Antelope Valley Fairgrounds. 2551 West Avenue H, Lancaster. Gates open at 4 p.m.; fireworks at 9:15 p.m. Antelope Valley Fairgrounds.

-Avalon, Catalina Island. Fireworks at 9 p.m. can be seen from anywhere in Avalon.

-Big Bear Lake. San Bernardino National Forest. San Bernardino. Fireworks begin at 8:45 p.m.

-Burton Chace Park. 13650 Mindanao Wy., Marina Del Rey. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

-Calabasas High School. 22855 Mulholland Hwy., Calabasas L.A. Gates open at 5 p.m., fireworks at 9 p.m.

-Castaic Lake Recreation Area. 32132 Ridge Route Road, Castaic. Entertainment program begins at 5 p.m.; fireworks at 9 p.m. All-day entrance to the park is $25 per car load or $5 per walk-in.

-CBS Studio Center. 4024 Radford Ave., Studio City. Program begins at 4:30 p.m.; fireworks at 9 p.m. Adults, $20; children (6-12), $10; children 5 and younger, free.

-Centennial Park. 3000 W. Edinger Ave., Santa Ana. Sunday, July 1: Gates open at 2 p.m. Sun.; fireworks 9 p.m.

-Cerritos High School. 12500 183rd St., Cerritos. Family festival begins and 4 p.m.; fireworks at 9 p.m.

-Culver City High School. 4401 Elenda St. Culver City. Gates open at 5 p.m.; entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m.; fireworks at 9 p.m. $2 suggested donation per person.

-Doheny State Beach. 25300 Dana Point Harbor Dr., Dana Point Fireworks at 9 p.m., launched from a barge in the harbor.

-El Modena High School. 3920 E. Spring St., Orange. Program starts 4 p.m. Tue. ; fireworks at dusk. $7 for anyone older than 2.

-Exposition Park. 600 State Dr., Los Angeles. Program begins at 11 a.m.; fireworks at 8:30 p.m.

-Pomona Fairplex. 1101 West McKinley Ave., Pomona. Kaboom! Monster trucks and motoX extreme precede a grand fireworks finale. Program begins at 8 p.m.; fireworks at 9:20 p.m.
