HAWTHORNE, Calif. (KTLA) -- A 32-year-old Hawthorne man was charged today with sexually assaulting a woman he met through an Internet dating service.

Arron Henry Robinson is accused of picking the woman up at her residence and driving to a CVS store to buy alcohol.

Prosecutors say he then took the woman back to his Hawthorne apartment where he sexually assaulted her on Nov. 3.

Robinson then brought her back to her home.

She reported the sexual assault to police the next day.

Prosecutors will ask bail be set at $100,000.

If convicted, he faces up to eight years in state prison.
