VAN NUYS -- The grandson of Walt Disney pleaded not guilty Thursday to 19 felony counts of illegal drug and weapons possession.

Patrick Disney Miller, 42 was arrested earlier this month after police searched his Woodland Hills home and found a variety of weapons, including 13 handguns, a rifle, an illegal assault rifle and various drugs, according to prosecutors.

Miller was originally charged with a single felony count, but prosecutors filed 19 additional charges against him, including possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of an illegal assault rifle and possession of a controlled substance with a firearm.

Miller is barred from owning guns or ammunition following a 2005 conviction on drug possession in Fresno.

Although he had been free on $35,000 bail, Miller was arraigned in Van Nuys Superior Court on the new charges and taken into custody. Bail was raised by Superior Court Judge Thomas Rubinson to $550,000.

A preliminary hearing in the case has been set for Feb. 4.

Miller faces more than eight years in prison if convicted.

Miller's mother, Diane Disney Miller, is the eldest daughter of Walt Disney. She and her husband, Ronald William Miller, have seven children. Patrick Disney Miller is the youngest.
