LONG BEACH, Calif. (KTLA) -- A baby girl, her father and a woman were killed in a crash on the 710 Freeway in Long Beach late Monday night.
Firefighters arrived at the scene, just south of Long Beach Boulevard, shortly before 11 p.m. Monday.
According to the CHP, the woman, identified as 19-year-old Emily Jimenez, was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer.
She lost control for unknown reasons, and the car veered off the freeway.
It rolled several times before landing near railroad tracks.
It took almost a half an hour to extricate the victims, authorities said.
The girl, 2-month-old Sophia Gutierrez, and her father, 20-year-old Abel Israel Gutierrez, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Jimenez was taken to a hospital, where she later passed away.
The crash is now under investigation.
