CAMBRIDGE, Ohio (KTLA) -- A 40-year old man is facing child endangerment charges after allegedly putting his 3-year-old son in a clothes dryer as punishment and then turned it on.

Deputies were called to the home of Jamial Bayly by family members.

The sheriff says the father acknowledged putting the boy in the dryer earlier in the day.

No word on how long the boy was in the dryer

Deputies say the boy had no visible injuries.

The child was released to his mother, who wasn't home at the time.

Bayly was convicted in 1999 of domestic violence for assault on a 5-year-old family member.
