EL CAJON, Calif. ( KTLA) -- A homeowner in El Cajon made a gruesome discovery when she discovered a baby's body stashed in a plastic bag in her backyard.

Homicide Lt. Dennis Brugos says deputies were called to the home Thursday when a family dog reacted suspiciously to the plastic bag.

The woman who lives at the home called her son to help investigate. That's when they discovered the body of a full-term boy inside.

Burgos said there was no evidence that the infant belonged to anyone who lived at the home.

Paramedics pronounced the baby dead.

An autopsy was planned to provide more details in the case.

A neighbor told KSWB-TV that between five and 10 people actually live in the residence, which they described as a "drug house."
