Allie Mac Kay was live from The Children's Museum at La Habra to give us a preview of their new spring exhibit "Feel The Rhythm!" and toured one of their permanent exhibits called "Nature Walk".

Every culture has an elemental feel for music and dance, as basic as heartbeats.
-Explore percussion and dance in our super fun "Found" Percussion Music Section where repurposed materials ARE the instruments that will have you hip hopping to the kid's beat.
-See the inner workings of a piano in our Strings Area. Floor to ceiling piano wires will let kids be the "keys" as they play Beethoven with padded mallets.
-Experience a thousand year old dance culture as you try on traditional Korean dance costumes and learn how a culture's folktales can be expressed through music and movement.
-Fire up your energy and bounce into Irish Step Dancing, the origin of the Riverdance style and American tap. -
Immerse yourself in the spiritual drum beat of First Nations music as you learn Native American steps and enjoy the deeper meaning and competitive spirit of the Pow Wow gathering.
"Feel the Rhythm" will help you find the beat of music and dance from three continents right here in Southern California!
