The Children's Museum at La Habra's new fall exhibit, Castles & Kings, invites you to step into a world filled with armor and swords, court jesters, knights, and royal costumes! Learn about village life in the middle ages with hands-on activities throughout the exhibit. From toddlers to tweens, children will walk across a drawbridge into everyday life inside the King's castle. A courtyard filled with necessities of castle life, such as a blacksmith shop, a butcher shop, the stables, and a marketplace that children get to experience firsthand. Step inside the castle into the living quarters of the King and Queen themselves where children have a chance to dress up like a Royal Princess or Honorary Knight, have a meal at the King's table, and even get to sit on the royal throne! Castles and Kings is an out-of-this-world, whimsical exhibit that will teach children about the history and everyday life inside a medieval castle.
