The justices on the US Supreme Court better rest up over the summer, because when they return in October, it`s gonna be non-stop sex for a while.

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer wants the Supremes to overturn a ninth circuit court ruling that struck down the state`s law denying benefits to same-sex partners of state employees.

Yeah, that`s confusing. Maybe this will help.

The Arizona legislature passed the law denying domestic benefits in 2009, and gay rights groups immediately challenged it in court on the grounds it violates the equal protection clause of the u-s constitution.  A district court agreed, the ninth circuit concurred, and now Brewer wants the Supremes to weigh in.

They`ll also be asked by Speaker of the House John Boehner and the Department of Justice to take up various challenges to DOMA, that`s the defense of marriage act.
