Nothing says 'Happy Earth Day' like a 240 pound metal fish in a man-made mini-lake in the middle of downtown, right?

The fish, named "Nomo" is made from all kinds of recycled stuff -from stainless steel mesh to windshield wiper motors, solar panels and even old street signs. It’s set up in the lake at Discovery Green.

Nomo’s belly is full of trash, representing the effects of pollution on marine life.

Seriously, conserving water and not littering are crucial to sustain the planet for everyone.

You can check out the statue, commissioned for the Waste Management Earth Day Festival on Saturday April 7 from 10-4 at Discovery Green, until April 9.
