On Monday, April 16, the Texans' voluntary offseason workout program started and so did hopes and dreams.
"Obviously, after the year we had, everyone's fired up to get started and continue on that path," Owen Daniels, a Texans tight end, said. "[There's] a lot of good players here, and a lot of guys that contributed [from last season] and a lot of up-and-coming guys that we're excited about."
"It's hard for me to tell you a certain date like June or something like that, but all I know is come time for training camp I'm going to be 100-percent ready to go," said Schaub.
"Very impressive," James, a 2005 fourth-round draft pick out of LSU, said. "I think they ended up being the No. 2 defense in the league. Hey, that's a tall order. The NFL is so tough."
The NFL will release its 2012 official schedule on Tuesday, April 17.
