This is turning into a mega fail. The mystery surrounding the self-proclaimed Mega Millions lottery winner just keeps getting weirder and weirder.
Mirlinde Wilson, the Baltimore woman who says she can't find her winning ticket, has changed her story a million times. Now she's saying the ticket is hidden somewhere under the golden arches where she works.
Problem is...she's afraid to go back in and face her angry coworkers. Sounds McFishy!
She held a press conference only to tell reporters to go home.
“I think the easiest way to be over with all this is for you all to go home and then when we get ready...Ms. Wilson gets ready then we can do what she desires to do," said Mirlinde Wilson’s attorney.
Even her own attorney doesn't seem to be on her side.
“I cannot say with any certainty that this ticket exists and I would caution anybody, until it's presented to the lottery commission for processing, that it doesn't exist..."
At least she got some smoke and mirrors with those legal fees.
“I think that sometimes there are external forces that work on us, that push us into situations that we just have to deal with. And this is one of them. One can be placed in a precarious situation. Or someone else can place you in a precarious situation."
What is going on? Just show us the ticket already!
