Workers at Cavender’s Boot City in Houston were surprised to see the Milwaukee Brewers visit the store to play a little dress up during the team’s trip to play the Astros.

Team manager Ron Roenicke suggested that the Brewers find an outfit they liked to channel some southern culture and it might add some baseball karma too after the Boston Red Sox made cowboy up a catchy phrase.

Players bought cowboy hats, boots, belt buckles and everything needed for a little boot scootin' boogie.

Pitcher Yovani Gallardo took his own approach to the western wear with a black duster and oversized hat while right fielder Nyjer Morgan tweeted "Cowboy plush to the rescue! Yee haw!", with a picture of himself in full character outside of Minute Maid Park.

The team wasn't camera shy as they posed for a group picture before leaving Houston.

Certainly nothing wrong with a little team building exercise every now and then.
