(HOUSTON - March 26, 2010) The Houston SPCA is pleased to announce that the 6th Annual 2010 Animal Talk Luncheon will take place on Thursday, May 6th at Houston's Premier Boutique Hotel ZaZa. This years' featured speaker is world-renowned author, linguist and animal lover, Dr. Richard Lederer. Dr. Richard Lederer is the author of more than 30 books about language, history and humor including his best-selling Anguished English series and his current books, A Treasury for Dog Lovers and A Treasury for Cat Lovers. His syndicated column, "Looking at Language," appears in newspapers and magazines throughout the United States. In addition, he has been named International Punstar of the Year and Toastmasters International's Golden Gavel winner.
This year's luncheon is expected to be especially entertaining as the audience is sure to feast on Dr. Richard Lederers' love of the English language and magical twist on words.
