Grab some Q-tips, clean out your ears and get ready to hear over twelve hours of music featuring 50-plus bands and a slew of DJ`s.

Hundreds ventured out to the 23rd Annual Houston Press Music award- the granddaddy of all Houston music festivals. No other ten dollar wristband entitles you to as much great music and fun.

For the first time ever, the event was held at the central city`s east side and spilled over into old Chinatown. Could this become the event`s permanent home? Let`s hope so.

The crowds came out for a good time, but also to support Houston Press music editor Chris Gray who`s recovering from an apparent heart attack.

This showcase is Gray`s life condensed into one day filled with music and fun which makes his life sound like sweet melodies.
