It`s a huge victory for the Rocket...

On day 2 of the trial, the judge has declared a mistrial in the case against Roger Clemens for allegedly lying to congress about steroid use.

U.S. district Judge Reggie Walton said Clemens could not be assured a fair trial after prosecutors showed certain evidence against his orders.

That evidence?

A conversation Clemens` former teammate Andy Pettitte testified that he had with his wife Laura about Clemens and human growth hormone.

Prosecutors showed a video in which a congressman referred to Laura Pettitte and the alleged conversation with her husband.

Judge Walton interrupted the showing of the video... Saying the jurors couldn`t possibly disregard what they had just heard.

Judge Walton apologized to the jury for wasting their time, and the public for spending taxpayer money in vain.

And based on the reactions we got from people... An apology was needed.

A hearing is scheduled for September 2nd to determine whether to hold a new trial, but at least for now, Clemens is off the hook.
