Christmas weekend is huge for Hollywood, and there are always so many options to choose from! To make things even harder we're bringing you a list of the movies coming out this weekend.

For the films for the family, there's Alvin and the Chipmunks, the Squaekquel! The Chimpmunks are back and Alvin, Simon and Theodore are joined by the Chipettes! Amy Poelher Anna Farris and Christina Applegate voice the singing trio, although in high squeaky voices it's hard to tell!

Another family option for older kids, is Sherlock Holmes. Guy Ritchie directs, Robert Downey Jr. Stars as Holmes and Jude Law stars as Dr. Watson. The two have finally caught Lord Blackwood but when he returns from the grave has Sherlock Holmes finally met his match?

For the films for the date, It's Complicated. Meryl Streep has a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in the film that weaves a funny and complicated web between lovers and exes. Jake, played by Alec Baldwin, left his wife, Jane, for a younger woman. At their son's graduation party they reconnect, but Jane is also involved with another man, Adam, played by Steve Martin.

Another date option is Nine, the musical starring Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Judi Dench, Kate Judson, Sophia Loren, Fergie and Daniel Day Lewis. Lewis plays a movie director deserpate to make up for some of his recent flops with a new theatrical bang, but his personal life is getting the way and he struggles to find balance between his wife, mistress, muse and his own ego.

And for the DVD, there are so many fun Christmas and holiday favorites to choose from, so I thought I'd remind you of some of the classics we all love. The 1965 original, a Charlie Brown Christmas. Love Actually, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
