From action packed dramas to holiday humor, whatever your mood, you can find it at the movies this weekend.
Will Smith's son, Jaden, has a role in the film as well, and talks about working on set with the seasoned actor, "Keanu Reeves is a really cool guy; he helps me with my lines, helps me where I'm supposed to stand and things like that."
Nothing Like the Holidays
Moving on to a lighter subject, Debra Messing and John Leguizamo star in 'Nothing Like the Holidays', a Latino persepctive on Christmas. They return to their Puerto Rican neighborhood, Humbolt Park in Chicago, to spend what may be their last Christmas together as a family. Debra says, "There's something completely universal about it, it doesn't matter what culture you're from you see yourselves in these characters."
And finally, an animated indie film that brings animation and fantasy to the next level. Delgo, played by Freddie Prinze Jr., is a rambunctious teenager in the world of Jhamora. Freddie Prinze says, "It's set in a fantasy world that you've never seen before and it's about culturally different people trying to work together, to work for the greater good." He falls for the forbidden Nohrin princess Kyla, played by Jennifer Love Hewitt. She says, "They're young people trying to grow trying to figure it all out, they're really in touch with their hearts." And adding another complex layer, Delgo, along with his friends, is forced to protect their world and reunite the people of Jharmora.
That's a look at what's playing in theaters starting tomorrow. Enjoy a night out to the movies!
