Dallas—Dark clouds moved into the Metroplex earlier this evening, dumping rain and some hail. "I though we would see a tornado, I was scared," said Veronica Chavez who sat inside a Carrollton coffee shop. No twisters but the storm packed 60 MPH winds, along with penny-sized hail.
The heavy rain also caused some flash flooding on the roads, along with the poor visibility police had responded to dozens of accidents across Dallas and Fort Worth.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch was cancelled for most of the area at 10 p.m.
