Curried Dungeness Crab on Crackers

Makes 2 dozen

Creamy, delicately spiced and garnished with a red grape, this is a quick and delicious, last-minute appetizer for New Year’s Eve celebrations. It's even better when you make the crab mixture a day ahead.

Ingredients:

8-ounces Fresh Dungeness Crab – or you can substitute your favorite crab.
2 tablespoon Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lime juice
1 1/2 teaspoons mild curry powder (or more to taste)
2 green onions, finely chopped
24 water crackers
12 red grapes, halved

Directions:

In a large bowl, mix the mayonnaise, lime juice, curry powder and green onions, then fold in the fresh crab.

Top each cracker with a bit of crab salad, then garnish with a grape half and serve.
