The Army Corps of Engineers is investigating why a release from the Mud Mountain Dam flooded the King County community of Pacific.
Corps District Director, Col. Anthony Wright, said they are in the business of preventing floods not causing them.
With the reservoir quickly filling, engineers decided to release some water on Thursday and open up room for more water.
They released an amount comparable to past years.
Wright believes there may have been some changes to the White River that caused the water to overflow and go into homes.
There will be a meeting for flood victims Tuesday night at Alpac Elementary School at 6:00pm.
The mayor of Pacific says he believes the water damaged the levy near Pacific.
Tuesday morning, King County water inspectors are supposed to come and check it.
