Seahawks offensive coordinator Greg Knapp said he steadfastly believes his offense still trusts his decision-making and play-calling despite the team's struggles, which include losing the last three games by a combined 106-24 margin.

"Most definitely," Knapp said Wednesday. "A lot of it too is just growth with each other. What do certain guys do well? A lot of times that doesn't occur until games when you find out which plays are good for which individuals. ...With me getting to know what routes are best for certain receivers and tight ends and the more reps we get of that, the closer we'll get to being more consistent."

Knapp's comments came a day after receivers Nate Burleson, Deion Branch and T.J. Houshmandzadeh took what could be considered some veiled shots at Knapp on their weekly radio show.

The three never directly said they had any issue with Knapp.

"You have to trust the people that are making decisions," Houshmandzadeh said. "You've got to trust the people that are calling plays. You've got to trust everything that is going on in order for things to work. If that trust is not there, you're always going to second-guess things."

After a caller to the show questioned Knapp's play-calling in short yardage situations, Burleson echoed Houshmandzadeh's sentiments.

"Those third downs, the bunch packages, like we said earlier, we can only do what we can do. Only control what we can control," Burleson said.

Coach Jim Mora was asked on Wednesday if he felt Knapp did indeed have the trust of the offense.

"You know, I would hope so," Mora said. "I think that it takes time to build that and success certainly helps. We've struggled to have consistency for a number of reasons. That's an honest question."
