The Seahawks play their final exhibition game at home Thursday night against the Raiders and open the regular season at home Sept. 13 against the St. Louis Rams.

Seahawks coach Jim Mora says quarterback Matt Hasselbeck looked sharp in Seattle's 14-10 pre-season victory Saturday at Kansas City.

Hasselbeck led touchdown drives at the end of the first half and start of the second. T.J. Houshmandzadeh (hoosh-mihn-ZAH'-dah) and John Carlson caught scoring passes.

Newly signed running back Edgerrin James watched the game from the sideline, taking notes.

The Seahawks cut four players yesterday: defensive tackle Kevin Brown, fullback Dan Curran, linebacker Shane Simmons and tight end John Tereshinski.

Teams have until tomorrow to trim rosters to 75 players. The final cutdown to 53 players must be done by Saturday.
