SEATTLE—The Boeing Air Show is one of the highlights of Seafair Weekend, and this year is no exception. In addition to the amazing Blue Angels, crowds are treated to the aerobatics of Lt. Col. John Klatt of the Air National Guard.
Kaci was lucky enough to head up into the skies above downtown Seattle to get a feel for what it's like doing some of those amazing tricks!
Due to a 1960's-themed segment that morning with the EMP exhibit on The Supremes, Kaci was still sporting her beehive... which Lt. Col. Klatt allowed her to keep in-flight. Thus, her call sign "Beehive" was born, and aside from singing a tad too much, she made a great co-pilot. OK, a great back-seat driver.
The Air National Guard has wonderful opportunities for getting college paid for, as well as over 200 career opportunities. To learn more, click on the link.
We'd like to give a big thanks to the Air National Guard and Lt. Colonel John Klatt for putting up with- we mean, spending quality air time with- Kaci!
