Prominent rabbi with Baltimore ties arrested for voyeurism

A prominent Washington rabbi with ties to the Baltimore area was arrested by D.C. police on Tuesday and charged with voyeurism, police said. Barry Freundel, 62, of the Kesher Israel Congregation in Georgetown, was being held in police custody on charges of voyeurism, a DC police spokeswoman said. Police declined to provide details, but Freundel was expected to make an appearance in court on Wednesday.
