Bored? Stir-crazy? Got cabin fever? Here's some stuff going on in Hartford today... could be great, could be, well, worse than staying home.

If you're looking for something to do RIGHT NOW, it's Backyard Games Week at Bushnell Park. You can head on over to get in on the hula-hooping, lawn bowling, badmintoning action. Sadly, no lawn darts. Or are you not that into exercise? Think about checking out the grand opening of MOOYAH Burger at the State House Square food court. This Texan fast-food chain is bringing big burgers, loads of free toppings, and milkshakes with real ice cream to Connecticut. It's open from 11-2. If you're tempted to hit up both of them, avoid having to clean barf off of a Velcro paddle and get the burgers after the games (or attempt the impossible task of not eating too much at MOOYAH).

If you're into history, or are trying to keep some kids occupied this afternoon, the Connecticut Historical Society has a new exhibit, "Making Connecticut" that opens today. Their site promises hours of, "sewing a Native American moccasin, replacing bobbins in a textile mill," and other activities that sound suspiciously like they're exploiting a loophole in child labor laws.

Tonight, Panic! At The Disco will be playing at the Webster Theatre. Tickets are sold out online, but there's always a chance you can get them at twice their face value right outside the Webster. And if you can't get your hands on any Panic! tickets, but have an undying urge to watch people singing on a stage, West Side Story is at the Bushnell once again.
