THURMONT, Md.—Volunteers are needed to help at Cunningham Falls and Gambrill state parks as part of volunteer trail days.
At both locations Volunteers will help with maintenance and installation of trail erosion control structures. Possible clearing of blow downs and trimming of vegetation obstructing the trails might also be needed. Tools and training will be provided.
Cunningham Falls State Park — Sundays, Sept. 30 and Oct. 14. Meet 10 a.m. at the falls trail parking lot. Volunteers are asked to inform the attendant at the entrance kiosk that they are volunteering to work on the trails in order to have the park's entrance fee waived.
