The theme is “SonQuest Rainforest” and will include crafts, Bible study, snacks, games as well as opportunities for children to learn the Bible verse — “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John, 3:16.
The program is open to those ages 4 through eighth grade.
The cost is $5 per camper, and everyone is welcome.

Veterans memorial event planned at Valley Mall
Members of Korean War Veterans Antietam Chapter 312 will be in the Valley Mall Food Court by Kings Jewelers beginning Friday, providing information and accepting donations for the dedication of the new Korean War Veterans Memorial.
The chapter members will be at the mall through Saturday.
The new Korean War Veterans Memorial is off Potomac Avenue at Mealey Parkway in Hagerstown.
The memorial will feature the names of veterans killed during the Korean War.

Retired educational group makes donation
At their May membership meeting and luncheon, members of the Washington County Retired Educational Personnel Association collected money for the local Korean War Veterans Memorial Fund.
Presenting a donation of $300 to Les Bishop, commander of Korean War Veterans Antietam Chapter 312, were Tena Lane and Ann Marie Downey, co-presidents of the retired educational personnel group.
A dedication ceremony for the memorial is scheduled for Sunday, June 23, at 2 p.m.
Civil War games planned at museum
The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts will host children’s games from the Civil War era in the museum’s Kaylor Atrium Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
