CHAMBERSBURG, Pa—The Cumberland Valley School of Music presents the fifth annual Neighborhood Chefs' Walk from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 1. The event takes place along Alexander Avenue between Carlton and Pennsylvania Avenues. Six chefs from Chambersburg will combine their talents with a variety of culinary creations with five stages of continuous live music, strolling musicians, cooking demonstrations and a silent auction featuring packages donated by each chef.
Local chefs Roger Tappen, Dave Munson, Grayson Bowman, and Bryan Lucas (Chestnut Landing at Menno Haven), restaurateur Tom Boock (The Cottage), and Cecily Barber (The Butcher Shoppe) will prepare and serve their unique culinary delights. Each chef station will feature a themed menu. The Chefs' Walk also features wine and beer sampling.
Music offereings include jazz, classical, folk, country, pop, rock, funk and other genres.
Advance discounted tickets cost $50 per person if purchased by Tuesday, April 30. Tickets cost $60 per person after that date. Tickets are available at The Cottage Restaurant and Pub, Johnnie's Restaurant and Hotel Services, The Butcher Shoppe and at The Cumberland Valley School of Music.
