Admission is free. The event will be held rain or shine.
Additional activities: Child IDs using MdCHIP program (Grand Lodge of Maryland). Representatives from area organizations will participate with safety-related displays and/or activities.
There will be continuous tours of the Power of Fire House. Families also will have the opportunity to complete safety stations throughout the day to experience what students coming to Children’s Village learn during the school year.
Tickets can be purchased for some activities, including mini car rides and fire hose spraying challenge (Funkstown Volunteer Fire Co.).
Food provided by Downsville Ruritan Club and funnel cakes provided by Williamsport Lions Club will be sold.

Children’s Village, on Mount Aetna Road in Hagerstown, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free life-safety education to elementary school children in the county.
The Everywhere Fun Fair vacation Bible School will be held June 17 to 21, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., at Bethel United Methodist Church, 21006 Twin Springs Drive in Smithsburg.
It is geared for those in preschool through the fifth grade.
The “Five Love Languages of Children” will be available for parents.

Hubcaps to perform Friday at Elks Lodge
The Kiwanis Club of Hagerstown will present an evening with the Fabulous Hubcaps on Friday from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. at the Elks Ballroom, 11063 Robinwood Drive.
Tickets cost $25 per couple, $15 for singles, or $125 for a table of 10.
