Kathryn Elizabeth (Hardy) Lockley, 83, of Hagerstown, Md., died Friday, March 11, 2011, at her home in Hagerstown.
Kathryn graduated from Lincoln High School, Frederick, Md. She was a homemaker and a past member of Ebenezer AME Church, Brunswick.
Kathryn is survived by two daughters, Carol L. Hardy and Lamonda E. McKenzie; five sons, Thomas E. King Sr. and wife, Virginia, Kenneth L. Hardy, Raymond E. Lockley, and Robert E. Lockley and friend, Terry Gantz, all of Hagerstown, and Leon Lockley Jr. and wife, Frances K., of Martinsburg, W.Va.; five sisters, Frances Butler of Camden, N.J., Esther Brown and Edna Bowie of Hagerstown, Eleanor Hosby of Martinsburg and Lillie Morris of Burkettsville, Md.; two brothers, William Hardy of Brunswick and Robert Hardy of Hagerstown; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by one brother, George Hardy, and one sister, Bessie Bussey.
The funeral service will be at noon Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, Hagerstown. The Rev. G. Nathan Bell will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
The visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
