Mr. Howard Scott Bell, 62, of Falling Waters, W.Va., passed away Friday, May 24, 2013, at Frederick (Md.) Memorial Hospital.
He was the husband of Lori Webster Bell, his wife of 16 years.
Howard was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Frederick.
He was a train collector, enjoyed gardening and traveling, was a great cook, and loved his dogs and cats.
Mr. Bell was employed by First Data in Hagerstown.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Karen Bell of Frederick; his brother-in-law, Dale Webster and wife, Sherri, of Thurmont, Md., and their daughter, Julien Webster; his sister-in-law, Sherry Bowman and fiancé, Norman Loeb, of Potomac, Md.; a niece, Shelly Parsley and her husband, Thomas, and their children of North Carolina; a nephew, Josh Cooney and his son, Liam, of Frederick; and his mother-in-law, Fay Webster of Thurmont.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 28, 2013, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont.
Services will be Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Weller United Methodist Church, Altamont Avenue, Thurmont. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
