Hagerstown Community College’s Robinwood Players will perform “Marat/Sade” from Friday, Dec. 2, to Sunday, Dec. 4, in the Classroom Building Auditorium CLR-111.
Written by playwright Peter Weiss and translated from the original German by Geoffrey Skelton, “Marat/Sade” is based on the story of the Marquis de Sade and the plays that he staged with fellow inmates while imprisoned in Charenton Asylum.
Tony Award for best play and best director, as well as the 1966 New York Drama Critics’ Circle Award for best play.
Showtimes are 8 p.m. Dec. 2 and 3, and 2 p.m. Dec. 4.
Admission costs $10, but HCC students, staff and faculty can attend for free.
