The movie is a must-see for families.
A child-friendly movie will also be shown at the same time.

Spaghetti supper planned for Friday
An all-you-can-eat spaghetti supper will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Wilson Ruritan Club, just west of Huyetts Crossroads on U.S. 40.
There will also be a cake auction.
Tickets cost $6 for adults and $4 for those ages 4 to 11.
St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 30 S. Martin St., Clear Spring, will begin its traditional Lenten services Wednesday at 7 p.m.
After that, services will be every Tuesday, beginning Feb. 28 and continuing through March 27. A light meal of soup and sandwiches will be served at 6 p.m.
At 6:45 p.m., the Rev. Elaine Swinehart, pastor, will lead the congregation in a series of studies. The studies are titled “Christ Alone” on Feb. 28; “Grace Alone” on March 6; “Faith Alone” on March 13; “The Theology of the Cross” on March 20; and “The Law and the Gospel” on March 27, the last week of the Lenten season.
The community is invited.
Movie night planned at church
St. John’s United Church of Christ will show the movie “Dolphin Tale” Saturday at 7 p.m. in the social hall.
The church is at the corner of Cumberland and Mill streets.
The movie is free, and so are the popcorn and drinks. Sit on the floor or bring a bean-bag chair or blanket.
Maple sugar festival
Claud E. Kitchens Outdoor School at Fairview will welcome families and visitors to the annual maple sugar festival Saturday, March 3.
The festival features maple-sugaring demonstrations and children’s activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Admission and all activities are free. Breakfast and lunch fare will be available for purchase at the school’s bus pavilion.
Directions to the school: Take exit 18 off Interstate 70 at Clear Spring. Go north into Clear Spring on Md. 68. Turn left on U.S. 40. Continue one block and turn right at the traffic light on Martin Street. At the end of Martin Street, turn right on Broadfording Road and travel approximately 100 yards. Turn left on Draper Road. The entrance to the school is about 1/3 of a mile from the intersection on the left.

Did you know that during World War I, Clear Spring had a community room, which served as a place where local soldiers could come and unwind? After the war, the Clear Spring Library was open there. All of this was run by volunteers, and funded by suppers and plays put on by the Masks and Whigs Club.
