It's an all-star day for scientists as three Nobel Prize-winners meet at North Carolina's flagship public university.
They're in Chapel Hill on Monday for an event funded from the Nobel money that University of North Carolina genetics researcher Oliver Smithies (smith-eez) won in 2007 with two others.
Smithies and the UNC medical school are welcoming cell biology professor Randy Schekman from the University of California at Berkeley. The 2013 Nobel winner gives the keynote speech at the fifth annual symposium for star scientists.
