Doug Ulman, a Howard County native and founder of the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults, has been named president and CEO of Pelotonia, a cycling organization that raises money for cancer research, according to officials of the Ohio-based organization. Ulman, 37, is currently president and CEO of the Livestrong Foundation, the cancer fundraising organization founded by cyclist Lance Armstrong. He has worked with the Livestrong since 2001, and was at the helm of the organization as it weathered the controversy regarding cyclist and then-chairman Armstrong, who was stripped of his Tour de France titles for alleged doping.
