Catherine L. "Cathy" McAuliffe, who had been an executive assistant to three St. Paul's School headmasters, died Jan. 2 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pa., of a brain aneurysm.
The former Westminster resident was 66.
The daughter of Philip S. Ball Jr., an analyst at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, and Madeleine M. Ball, a research librarian, Catherine Lee Ball was born in Chicago and later moved with her family to Clarksville in Howard County.
She was a graduate of Glenelg High School and had attended Auburn University.

Salisbury Township Police and the Allentown Bomb Squad were at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest on Thursday after a suspicious package was reported on the first floor of the Kasych Family Pavilion. The package was determined to be harmless.
