Organist sets musical tone for NHL's Washington Capitals [Lutherville-Timonium]

When the Washington Capitals hit the ice for home games, it's not just their skill with hockey sticks that gets fans fired up. There's another "player," who helps keep the momentum going. For 16 seasons now, Bruce Anderson, a Lutherville resident, has been the organist for the Capitals.

Whether he's performing on the organ, or using a keyboard or synthesizer, Bruce aims to build excitement in the stands. He mixes up his choice of selections from the traditional crowd favorite, "Let's Go Caps," to more current songs, such as "Ex's and Oh's."
