As September begins, so does the fall party season, when many local groups put on their biggest fundraising events of the year in support of various causes and charities.
This year, however, there's something more in the air than just cooler weather. Last week's court hearings were just another reminder that this is a year when many of those who "have" have been motivated to help those who have not.
