    Each touchdown Maryland scores during its regular season finale against Rutgers on Nov. 29 will lead to a contribution toward cystic fibrosis research, as the University of Maryland chapter of Uplifting Athletes is holding a Touchdown Pledge Drive. The Maryland chapter chose cystic fibrosis in support of former Terps quarterback Boomer Esiason, who has a son affected by the disease. The Maryland chapter raised $12,412 for cystic fibrosis research this year during its Lift for Life event.
