Abingdon HomeGoods joins cancer fighting effort

Running through June 30, Abingdon-area HomeGoods shoppers will have the opportunity to support cancer care and research while shopping at the off-price home fashions retailer. More than 275 HomeGoods stores nationwide will be participating in the 12th annual "Helps Families Fight Cancer" campaign benefiting the Jimmy Fund, which supports pediatric and adult cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
