The Quinnipiac men's soccer team will team up with Major League Soccer, the Houston Dynamo and the Connecticut Football Club for "Soccer Night in Newtown" on Monday, 4-8 p.m. at the Newtown Youth Academy Sports & Fitness Center.
The event, free to Newtown residents, will feature interactive soccer activities for children and families.
More than 25 MLS players will attend, along with several stars of past and present from the United States national teams, such as Mia Hamm, Alexi Lalas, Kristine Lilly and Tony Meola.
The Dynamo will help raise money for the United Way's Sandy Hook School Support Fund with an online auction. For more information, visit HoustonDynamo.com/NewtownAuction.
