WHERE IS IT? Located in the southwest corner of the city of Norwalk, which was incorporated in 1651. The affluent village has its own Metro-North railroad station, about 39 miles from Grand Central Terminal in New York City.
DID YOU KNOW? Roton Point Park, on the Long Island Sound, was a summer destination for New Yorkers in the late 19th- and early 20th centuries. The hurricane of 1938 damaged many of the amusement park's attractions, and the park closed in 1942.
