It's Week 3 of the AHL season and the Whale's searching for their first victory. They picked up a point in an overtime loss in Norfolk over the weeknd, but Connecticut has been unable to complete a win.

The bright spot? Kyle Jean (3-3-6) has points in all four games this season. And Kris Newbury (3-4-7) leads the team in scoring. 

Here's the weekly preview of what's ahead, courtesy of the Whale:


This week:

After a Wednesday-night trip to Albany to visit the Devils (7:00 PM faceoff), the Whale return to the XL Center for a pair of home contests.  On Friday night the Whale host the Hershey Bears (7:00), and, as at all Friday-night home games this season, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers until 8:00.  Saturday night sees the arch-rival Providence Bruins invade Hartford for a 7:00 game, and it’s “Haunted Hockey Night” at the XL Center.


Wednesday, October 24 at Albany Devils (Times Union Center), 7:00 p.m.


Friday, October 26 vs. Hershey Bears at the XL Center, 7:00 p.m.


Saturday, October 27 vs. Providence Bruins at the XL Center, 7:00 p.m.
