What a weekend! It wasn't necessarily sunny, but at least it was dry for all the outdoor activities.

Our chances of scattered showers and thunderstorms this weekend never really materialized for us. That's OK. Saugatuck's Waterfront Film Festival, Rockford's Summer Celebration (just to name two) were happening this weekend and we got through them dry. Although we are not looking for alot of rain the next few days, we still have the chance to see these scattered showers and thunderstorms since we remain closely situated to a frontal boundary.

Monday, Tuesday, and early Wednesday the threat will remain across West Michigan for some wet weather, but much of the time will continue to be dry. No severe storms are expected, but some could produce heavy rainfall with all the moisture in the atmosphere just waiting to be wrung out. The attached viewer photo was submitted this weekend by Dave Orzechowski. He caught this giant catfish out of the Grand River, then gave it away to these guys. As he put it, they wanted it very badly. As we can see, they were quite happy to get it! Have a pleasant week.
