Western Michigan University is opening their doors to welcome in high school juniors and their parents for Spotlight; a special on-campus recruiting event.

On March 31st and April 14th, students and parents are invited to take a tour of the main campus which includes a trip to the student recreation center and a residence hall. The prospective students will also get to enjoy lunch in a campus dining hall and learn more about the school's programs during a presentation by a WMU faculty member.

"This program is designed to give high school juniors a chance to become more familiar with WMU and get a glimpse into campus life," said Gwen Thomas, Assistant Director of Admissions and coordinator of the event.

WMU is expecting about 900 students and parents to attend the open houses on both days. The university will have free parking for Spotlight guests. Visit www.wmich.edu/admissions to register.
